PROJECT INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION

The main objective of the ZDMP Project is to provide a digital reference platform for the achievement of the "zero defects" objective, with the aim of supporting quality improvement in both processes and products.

Making high quality products at low cost is the best way for Europe to maintain its leading position in the manufacturing industry and remain competitive in a global market. This industry is in the midst of a digital transformation process, due to the proliferation and increase of new technological solutions, which are incorporated into the production chain to make it more efficient (Smart Factories and Industry 4.0).

Impact

Provide a standards-based ZDMP reference architecture to achieve the goal of zero defects.
Provide the necessary mechanisms for the effective deployment of the ZDMP platform (IIoT, secure data acquisition, interoperability, artificial intelligence, etc.).
Ensure the quality of processes through the use of equipment, resources and energy optimized through innovative artificial intelligence solutions.
Ensure product quality by deploying advanced modeling, detection, inspection and predictive analytics solutions throughout the manufacturing chain.
Deploy the ZDMP platform on a large scale in four sectors: automotive, industrial machinery, electronic components manufacturing and construction.
