PROJECT INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION

The project aims to establish a strategic research cooperation network in technologies associated with high-security autonomous and connected mobility in complex urban environments. To this end, the project will work on: 1) The identification and definition of optimal scenarios, in an urban environment, for the implementation and deployment of autonomous driving in passenger and freight transportation; 2) Development of specific technologies, functions and systems related to autonomous construction, comprehensive safety and security in autonomous driving environments, simulation of connected environments; and, safety technologies for autonomous last mile freight transportation; 3) Development of virtual and physical prototypes with the objective of validating them in operational environments (urban distribution of goods and passenger transportation).
