DESCRIPTION

The SME-driven NanoOnSpect project aims to accelerate the commercialization of innovative polymer nanocomposites (PNCs) by combining advances in online sensor technology, artificial intelligence-based signal analysis and real-time process optimization to create a comprehensive solution to quality problems.

Impact

The SME-driven NanoOnSpect project has developed an online characterization tool onBOX and corresponding process control technologies to ensure precisely controlled dispersion of nanoparticles in composite materials, as well as reliable quality of the material produced.
