Impact

The result to be achieved consists of a demonstration prototype of an autonomous fruit detection and harvesting system based on photonic technologies of 3D vision and artificial vision combined with Artificial Intelligence, and incorporated in a mobile vehicle with a robotic arm, capable of guiding itself through the crop and collecting and storing the fallen fruit on the ground of the plot in order to valorize the wasted product and provide an economic return to the farmers.
