PROJECT INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION

The project aims to develop protocols for capturing 3D shapes in motion for different applications through a 4D scanning laboratory and to model the deformation of the soft tissues of the body when there is a change of posture or during movement.

Impact

In the current context of digital reconversion of processes, companies are betting on renewing the process of innovation and product design and update the shopping experience by incorporating digital information from users. The digitization process that many companies are implementing in the manufacture of products, they are extending it to the conceptualization, design and sales. It is a new paradigm that is being implemented in all business processes.
Numerous companies have expressed the need for animated body avatars that realistically simulate movements. This allows them on the one hand to innovate in the process of developing new products and connect it with the production phases.
