PROJECT INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION

This project aims to delve into the exploration of multimodality applied to Extended Reality environments. We propose the analysis and study of emerging devices and technologies in the field of Extended Reality, in which it is possible to integrate various mechanisms of communication and interaction with the system. It will be studied which types of modalities are more appropriate depending on the needs and context, which ones offer a better response in terms of system effectiveness and user experience. To this end, the proposal will be designed and validated with professional experts in one of the areas with the greatest potential for application and innovation in this type of technology, mental health and wellbeing. In addition, it is expected that this system will improve the existing knowledge about mental health issues and what are the most effective forms of technological intervention for them.
