PROJECT INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION

The main objective of the project is the development of a HIL testing system for the validation of pantographs in the laboratory using catenary models that include real layouts with the presence of curves, offsets, superelevations, different types of spans along the layout, and various types of catenary. In addition, we intend to make contributions to improve the current collection system in rail vehicles both from the point of view of maintenance (optimizing wear) and operational safety (including wind effects), and to validate them on the test bench.
