PROJECT INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION

The 3D FUTURE project aims to develop improved formulations from biocompatible polymer composites, resins and technical thermoplastics with enhanced properties. Adapting its characteristics to the specifications of the 3D printing process by means of FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) technology, SLA (Stereolithography) and bio-printing.

Adapting its characteristics to the specifications of the 3D printing process by means of FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) technology, SLA (Stereolithography) and bio-printing.

Impact

Development of new resins, biocompatible polymers and technical thermoplastic composites with added functionalities that can outperform conventional materials in terms of properties and characteristics.
The definition of a formulation methodology for these compounds that can be extended to other polymers.
Adaptation of new composites formulated from biocompatible polymers and the resins (SLA) and filaments (FDM) produced to the corresponding 3D printing equipment.
Validation of results through Pilot experiences.
Transfer of results.
