PROJECT INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION

Improve productivity by reducing manufacturing times not only with a design adapted to the manufacturing process but also by improving the manufacturing strategy and parameters that influence the melting of the metal powder in each layer. This will result in more competitive parts since their manufacturing time has been reduced, they have a suitable design and the surface quality and mechanical properties of these parts are guaranteed.

Impact

The overall objective of the TITAN project is to obtain a high productivity manufacturing strategy for the production of titanium parts. A comparative study of high productivity processing versus processing with standard parameters will be carried out with specimens, artifacts and demo parts.
