DESCRIPTION

MICROCAPS aims to develop an alginate ionic gelation microencapsulation equipment, monitored by artificial vision. The objective is to guarantee the quality of the microcapsules obtained during the entire production process, through the early detection of deviations and the automatic implementation of appropriate correction mechanisms.

Impact

The incorporation of microencapsulated compounds opens up a wide range of possibilities in the functionalization of the materials that make up the footwear, providing an important added value to the shoes. These results make it possible to test various
formulations that can be incorporated into footwear, providing it with new characteristics that improve its interaction with the user.
