Decentralized management of data from transportation processes through a blockchain system. Application to the case of dangerous goods.

This project aims to investigate and develop a proof of concept of a traceability solution for the transport of dangerous goods, eliminating the problem of information silos existing today. For this purpose, together with the cyber-physical information capture devices, it is intended to build a solution based on a Blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). Therefore, it is intended to provide the transport of dangerous goods with a solution for the collection of data from loading units, reducing the cost and errors in the document management process, as well as in the storage of certain records of transport events, where, among others, falls or impacts of the loading units are monitored to anticipate and detect possible breakage or manipulation of the products or the element that contains them.
For this purpose, IoT systems will be used, a hardware device with intelligence will be created to identify a possible impact that could cause a damage to the load, machine learning techniques will be adopted and Blockchain / Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) will be used.
