Business Experiments in Cyber Physical Production Systems
European Commission - H2020
It aims to integrate and experiment an integral platform machine-factory-services in the cloud, based on CPS (cyber physical systems) and FI (Future Internet). The BEinCPPS project derives from three distinct pillars:
A set of open source platforms based on FI, contemplating a three-layer architecture (machine - factory - cloud), integrating R&D advances in the fields of Internet of Things, FI and CPS / Intelligent Systems. These platforms will be able to interoperate bi-directionally with data relating to the machine, factory and cloud services. It includes technologies and platforms such as FIWARE and FITMAN, OpenIOT, OSMOSE, among others.
A pan-European SME oriented experimentation ecosystem. In the first phase of the project, the five regional pilots will provide requirements to platform integrators. In the final phase, an extended platform will be instantiated and deployed in different SMEs for further experiments.
A collection of methods and tools for innovation management, where methodologies for technology transfer will be enriched with a CPPS certification, with training programs for young talents and experienced operators, and with a 3-level method (variables-indicators-objectives) for results analysis and evaluation.
