PROJECT INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION

The project aims to generate an evolution in human movement analysis techniques. To this end, a new computer platform will be developed that allows the use of dynamic shape registration technology for the study of human movements, through the evolution from the generation of kinematic models from a limited number of anatomical markers to the use of meshes with resolutions of up to 5000 points.

Impact

The result is a human movement analysis system of greater precision and versatility, which allows the study of skin movements and also allows the visualization of the human body in 3D in movement, as a complement to the biomechanical information. The combination of all this will undoubtedly have a high potential for the design and evaluation of products in areas such as sport, clothing or socio-health.
