DESCRIPTION

The Project investigates on efficient solutions to be used during the product life cycle development, working on three basic capabilities collected in ECSEL JU MASRIA 2016:

Design Technologies (DT)
Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)
European Asset Protection (EAP)

The execution of the project is guided by the specification of 5 use cases; space, medical devices, railway, air traffic management, and industry (industrial drives). Each use case is led by industrial partners.

Impact

The main objective is to investigate the challenges arising from the interdependency between safety, security and performance during the life cycle of a product in a cyber-physical systems context.

Success stories

At the technical level, ITI is involved in two of its five use cases; Space, led by Thales Alenia Space S.A (TASE), and the Medical Devices use case, led by RGB S.A. (Spain). (Spain).
