We are the public university of reference in the province of Alicante. We highlight 4 research units at the service of INNDIH: 1) UNICAD - CAD/CAM/CAE research group: Dedicated to the development of advanced technologies for the design and customization of footwear, virtual prototypes, biomechanics projects, as well as tools for the protection of intellectual property of CAD/CAM/CAE applications and adaptations of machines and tools to the STEP-NC standard. 2) IUII - University Institute of Informatics Research: it is composed of more than 120 experts in different areas related to informatics. The IUII aims to be, in addition to a reference of support on information technology for small and medium enterprises and society in general, a common space for high quality researchers, with interdisciplinary training in the IT sector, with a common language where the philosophy of innovation and quality plays a central role. 3) groupM. Networks and Middleware : specialized in large infrastructures and network services. Our main areas of interest and expertise are distributed systems and computer networks, e-health, agile manufacturing or industry 4.0, smart cities (Smart City, IoT devices, LoRa networks, ...), and IT Governance. 4) AQuiA- Applied Chemical Analysis Laboratory: Our activity is focused on those areas in which the chemical characterization of a sample plays a preponderant role.

Feasibility study for participation in collaborative R&D projects to support the transformation of innovative ideas into demonstrable concepts. Includes support for the creation of consortia and administrative and technical assistance for the preparation of funding proposals.
Assessment, advice, and organisational diagnosis of the company’s degrees of readiness for the adoption of digital technologies to face the challenges of the coming years. Creation of digital transformation plans to achieve the necessary maturity and assessments of the technological readiness of products or services.
Consultancy and access to portfolio of R&D projects and results, guides, application sectors, best practices and success stories. Assessment to companies looking for innovative digital technologies to incorporate into their portfolio, including ethical assessment to ensure safe and ethical use of digitalisation for SMEs when necessary.
Provision of digital technology infrastructures (access and support to HPC, technology platforms) and access to competence centres/labs/infrastructure for experimentation, development of digitalisation of products/services, and production of prototypes or first series for SMEs.
Access to competence centres for individual/collaborative R&D projects with the objective of applying digital technology innovation to develop new products/services or improve existing ones. Access to design, technologies and solutions for new digitalisation products/services, from TRL4 to TRL7-8. Validation in the lab and with real customers. Textile sensing technologies, AI for data analysis and image processing, digital twin, VR and hearing, to pre-clinical and clinical testing.
